An Angel's Kiss

We go through life so often,
Not stopping to enjoy the day.
And we take each one for granted,
As we travel on our way.

For in your pain and sorrow,
An Angel's Kiss will help you through,
This kiss is very private,
For it is meant for only you.

We never stop to measure,
Anything we just might miss.
But if the wind should blow by softly,
You'll feel an Angel's Kiss.

A kiss that is sent from heaven,
A kiss from up above
A kiss that is very special,
From someone that you love.

So when, your hearts are heavy,
And filled with tears and pain.
And no one can console you,
Remember once again.

About the ones you grieve for,
Because you sadly miss.
And the gentle breeze you took for granted,
Was just an Angel's Kiss.

MY CAT ANGEL

I thought you'd be with me forever

And we would do everything together.

But, God had a different plan

And took you to join his clan.

I fought and fought to keep you

Together I hoped we would win.

But, it was not meant to be

As we both could see.

I miss you more than words can say

Each and everyday.

I know you are with me in spirit,

But I miss your gentle touch, oh so very much.

I know someday we'll be together again

But that day seems so far away.

You were my best little friend

Right up to the end.

Please don't ever forget me,

no matter how long it is

Until I cross the bridge,

and we meet again.

THOUGHTS ABOUT CHARITY

You made your first leap onto my bed with a big MEOW.
This made me jump for joy like a child feeling this is WOW!

Your beautiful coat so silky soft to the TOUCH.
By your purrs I knew that pleased us MUCH.

You scurried in, eyes aglow, when the thunder clapped and sounded its BOOM.
With a pet on your head and a voice so low, my try to comfort you was "it will be over SOON."

I was sitting on the couch with head bowed low and thoughts of something that went AWRY. When suddenly 1 felt a gentle paw on my arm and saw_ your eyes as if to say "I am here no need to CRY."

Right to the end, your friendship was the BEST. So now my love, sleep the eternal REST.

POEM FOR CHARITY

Two years are gone, my precious little friend.

I thought time would dry the tears.

But there still are so many memories

We have created through the years.

The tears are not always sad ones.

And sometimes I manage to smile.

Forgive me for feeling this way.

I just haven't seen you in a while.....

Today I'll light a candle.

I'll place it by the frame.

The one that holds your picture.

Though it's never quite the same.

I want you back here with me

But I know you had to go.

You'll never leave my dreams, my little friend.

I just wanted you to know.

Take care of you and remember.

If you are ever too tired to roam.

I am here, waiting for you.

Whenever your spirit needs to come home.....
