An Angel's Kiss

We go through life so often,
Not stopping to enjoy the day.
And we take each one for granted,
As we travel on our way.

For in your pain and sorrow,
An Angel's Kiss will help you through,
This kiss is very private,
For it is meant for only you.

We never stop to measure,
Anything we just might miss.
But if the wind should blow by softly,
You'll feel an Angel's Kiss.

A kiss that is sent from heaven,
A kiss from up above
A kiss that is very special,
From someone that you love.

So when, your hearts are heavy,
And filled with tears and pain.
And no one can console you,
Remember once again.

About the ones you grieve for,
Because you sadly miss.
And the gentle breeze you took for granted,
Was just an Angel's Kiss.

Jill's Diner, where we do our volunteer work at Best Friends in Utah, was named for her. She is a sweet little kitty who was in renal failure and had failed greatly since two weeks ago when we had seen her last.

The decision was made to help her cross Rainbows Bridge yesterday afternoon. The caregiver with whom we work held her softly and gently as the dr. administered the anesthetic that helped her move across the Bridge into a far brighter world where there is no cancer, no renal failure and where she was met by so many others, all comfortable now and ever keeping a watchful eye for those of us who continue to love them to come to be with them when the time is right.

And so we bless Jill and know that she is healthy and happy and running among the stars.

With love to Jill always and for her legacy, Jill's Diner

All the Caregivers and Volunteers at Best Friends

who will miss you.
